I like the Flo blue...but I would. :)

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Anyone watching any of the new shows?

I'm in the middle of watching Blue Bloods. So far just another cop show to me...we'll see. I love Tom Selleck!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

No. Not into 'regular' tv at all.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Ok so the ending makes me want to watch more episodes.

I don't really want to get hooked on any other shows. Bad enough with CSI and Glee and Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelor/Bachelorette

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

dexter started up again - great show - the new mob show on hbo is good - we like madmen too

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Nope, not into TV either, get a live feed from an event if it's a stream broadcast, otherwise go to Lib and take out movies. (we have a couple of nicely stocked libraries here)

Just news 24/7. If we were to watch something it would be Antique Road Show, American Pickers or Deadliest Catch.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I love American Pickers and Pawn Stars.
Regular TV is too full of bland commedies and murder, forensic, cops shows.
I also like home renovation shows.Sweat Equity and Professional Grade.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

the pbs 10th inning last night was good - all about baseball and the steroid error and yankees rise with georgie - tonight they talk about the Red Sox 04 win!!

Here it is a rainy day for the NE and Plant and Tree Identification are kicking us with posts.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Ok Sherrie, I'll try to change that.....

Tony Curtis died

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

comedian Greg Giraldo died in NJ of an OD trying to find out what hospital they brought him to, I wonder if it's the same hospital I had my son in?????

No clue who he even is.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

He was originally on Last Comic Standing

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

he was pretty funny... it's too bad

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Love reading peoples comments after articles...after the article on Tmz, someone said...man if it says 2 pills a day they mean it!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Wow I didn't know that about Greg Giraldo...he was funny.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, one of the great things these days is reading the comments after articles. They are usually way more entertaining than the article itself!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Just watched Iron Man 2. Not bad, but I liked the first one better. However, seeing Scarlett Johannsson wearing a sausage casing was not bad! ^_^ And she kicked some butt.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

I must see that movie, (purely for research purposes of course...).

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

that is the dvd we have for tomorrow

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I just watched the first season of Glee.
The production numbers were great.
Its probably popular with HS kids and brought back memories of the hellish time in HS for me.
This is NOT a cerebrel show. There was much fast-forwarding thru cleche dialogue and oversimplistic storyline, to get to the singing and dancing.
I wont rent the next few seasons.

Why cant they just leave the changing of the clocks alone! It used to be the last saturday in october and now its in november. geeze

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm hoping you don't consider the clock change as entertainment, Sherrie!

It might be entertainment if you could hear me. :-)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

New season of Mythbusters starts tonight. I'll record it since I'll be watching the game.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Is Mythbusters really good?
I pass over it many times.
I understand the concept of the show. Maybe I will give it a look as other cable shows are more detective and cops and spys.Sooooo tired of them.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

we both like it

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

There is a TV and Movie forum on the other site that has a New Fall Shows reviews thread. The Jimmi Smits Courtroom drama "Outlaw" is getting a thumbs down.
I always liked him in NYPD Blue and WestWing. too bad he took the Outlaw job.It doesnt look like it will last.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cannot take regular tv these days. The shows are horrible.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

OMG yess. Thank gawd for the Green Channel and History and Discovery.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I would add Science Channel, Animal Planet and Smithsonian.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

AMC and the premiums have great shows

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I do like AMC and Turner Classics.
TLC channel has 2 programs I like but the rest are drivvel, especially the OHHHHH toooooo gooooiie one about the 19Kids and Counting.
I think I get the Science Channel but Smithsonien is a mystery to me. That is the kind of material I like.
