I WS alot of tomotoes/peppers, there about a couple of inches high, there so tiny compared to the ones at the stores, do I need to transplant them to bigger containers or can I just put them in the garden. Katie
WS tomotoes transplant or not
You can just go ahead & put them in the garden :)
ants
Sink 'em deep, right up to the two nurse leaves at the bottom (cotlyedons). They'll take off. But, be careful not to overfertilize the tender babies and burn their roots to death!

garfieldkae,
What's your tomato transplant update? LMK how you made out!
So far they are pretty tiny still, at first I didn't plant them all the way up to there two true leaves but then I added some more dirt around them. It's been very cold here around 40's and 50's but none of them have died yet. I think I planted 28 plants. I've been fertilzing them with weak fish emilsion.
