I've read of 2-spotted, 7-spotted, 9-spotted, Convergent, etc, ladybugs.
Here's my guess, I am thinking maybe this is a Convergent ladybug. I wish I had a top view. BTW, it's underside was not black, it was orangy, like the top.
If not, then what is it?

I suspect that this could be one of the many color variations shown by Harmonia axyridis, an introduced species known aptly enough as the Asian multicolored lady beetle - see http://tinyurl.com/y78ovvp for some examples.
Thanks, suunto. The link was nice is appreciated and the one that opened right up, I'm pretty sire, is the one I photoed.
I'll just call it a Harmonia labybug.
