THANK YOU!
You are all the most generous bunch of people. Thank you for the plants, great food and wonderful company, and an extra special thank you to the organizers. I had a wonderful time and the weather was unbelievable! See all of you in the fall!

What a wonderful bunch of cooks you all are. Thank you for such a great meal and a fun filled day. I am blessed to 'know' all of you.

It was a feast of food, and all of it good!! I enjoyed seeing everyone and loved sharing the meal and plants with everyone. Don't think I will be back on DG tonight....I am pooped!
GREAT PEOPLE! ... GREAT FOOD! ... GREAT FUN! What more can you ask for?
oh Yes GREAT PLANTS!
It sounds like everyone had a great time. Thanks to everyone who arranged and ran the event!
I had to rush off right after the door prizes to fix a dishwasher leak, but all turned out well as I found a leak in the tub and it turns out that the tub has a 20 year warranty and we should be getting a brand new dishwasher. Woohoo! :)
When you said leak in the tub....I am so tired, I thought what did that have to do with the kitchen? Then sanity returned and I realize you are saying the tub of the dishwasher! LOL! Glad it was covered.
Another great success and enjoyed every minute of it. l Lots of old and new friends.
My mom was really surprised by the quantity and quality of plants my dad brought home. Thanks, everyone!
Ted I dont think I thanked you for my beautiful plant. I hope next time I will have something you will love to have. ... and to all of you who took a piece .... shame on you! lol

Great to see you too Ted! And thanks again for the great plants... I just love them!
Thank you too Dennis!
i just got the last of my plants in the ground and every one of them looks healthy and happy in my yard! i started when i got home from the round up and every night i add a few after work--i am already enjoying them and thinking about who gave them to me--
also while i was planting i noticed some of the plants i got from last years spring round up are doing so well this year--
I was able to fill up 6 feet of new flowerbed just with what I got from the roundup. Thanks, everyone!
it'll be your friendship flower bed--
All of my flower beds are friendship beds in that case! LOL! I didn't have a thing in my yard other than box store annuals, trees and shrubs against the house when we moved here in '91. Now because of the friends on Dave's teaching me about the natives, prennials and share so much from their gardens at RUs, I have 24 flowers beds from one end of my property to another. I think back every now and then to the barren area it used to be and so thankful that I found my DG family and a new hobby.
Linda One more mention....a plant you shared from you neighbor has bloomed! I am going to put the id thread.
i had to get my front and back in order quick for my sons wedding a few years back and had no interest at all in gardening--i bought all my plants that summer and it was soooo expensive---so i am very grateful for the trades ---
and of course the job i had to get my yard in order that-- i dreaded-- ended up being my obsession and now it is such a wonderful hobby!
isn't life great!
happy mothers day everyone!
The same to you Linda, and everyone else as well.
I was telling a co-worker about the plant swaps. I'm trying to talk her into coming in the fall. I told her that in my big flower bed, I think I only have 3 or 4 plants that I've purchased. Everything else I've either grown from seed or has been given to me at the swaps.
We always need newbies to share those items we have an abundance of!
That is for sure.
Now we neebies just need to find places to put all of your abundances. My yard is going to look fantastic. I can't thank everyone enough for all the wonderful plants that I received. Tina
Yep....but Dave's is the place to find out how to amend the soil build beds and the best type of mulch....on and on....
