I took an early spring visit to the Denver Botanic Garden this weekend. Not much was going on, but when I got to the conifer garden I was so impressed! They have so many different specimens - mostly on the small side...a good reminder that not all conifers are 40' blue spruces to me.
I wanted to share a couple photos I took. It makes me want to do the hill in my back yard in all evergreens!
Denver garden visit
Just gorgeous! I'll have to take a trip to the Bickelhaupt Arboretum in Clinton, Iowa in the coming weeks - http://www.bick-arb.org/
Nothing like conifers with new growth in the spring : )
What lovely pictures, thank you for sharing them.
