Thought I'd share a photo, from this evening, of my first two African Violets. I bought them in January and keep them, in the shade, on the back patio here in South Florida. Wish I knew what varieties they are, but have no idea.

Thanks much. They've been blooming since I've had them, but nothing near the way they are blooming now.

Thanks folks!

Sinn.sp AC 1503 was grown from a seed by Keyring. It still amazes me that such a beautiful plants can grow from a seed that looks like dust.LOL.I've had her about 5 years,my very first sinningia. This is the one that started me on my addiction to gessies ^_^ I wish I knew how to self her and seed some seed.

Jon,your AV's are beautiful.

Have a good day folks.Jan

I don't have much new blooming inside but I wanted to share a picture of a daffodil bouquet I cut for myself today.
I tried to get 1 of each type I have to make the bouquet:

Yeah, Jan...what Lynn said. LOL!!! I thought you could "self her". I have a lot to learn. Very nice pics everyone!

Beautiful bouquet Kim.I love daffy's

Hi Lynn and Connie,I'm not sure why I can't self AC1503.I have tried everything I know how to do (for years) I almost think the plant is sterile but I have seen seed in the gessie society seed fund,so that not it.I'll keep trying ^_^
In the mean time I'm trying to grow a leaf like I did with sinningia Jean.If it grows babies I just hope it doesn't put up 7 babies like the last one did:) I just shipped out the last of those babies yesterday.Yea! I have some room again.

Have a great day everyone,Jan

Jan,
Just curious.Have you tried selfing the same flower as well as crossing it with the other blooms?

Everyon needs to come over the Round robin Thread and sign up. It's great fun, and great way to get new babies. Lou

Took this one outside to try to get the right color...didn't work. Peppermint Girl is more pink than purple. She is sooo tiny :)
