Great start Adel, thank you.

Meth that was some really beautiful pictures on the start of the previous thread.
Nanny congratulation on the Brown Thrasher.
So nice to see everyone post.

Have some Robins feeding on grapes, this is one of them.

Since, I'm limited of the different specie of birds in my backyard, because of the Grackles. I'll put up on of them.

Doves don't seem to mind the grackles as much.

Beautiful photos on the last thread everyone.

Adel, thanks for the new start. Love your Tree Swallows and white-crowned.

Burn, what a cute one of the Robin. I'll have to remember to put some grapes out in the fall when they return to my area. Your Grackle is beautiful and I wouldn't feel bad seeing them in my yard at all. Love the iridescent coloring on them.

Thanks to Resin, I was able to identify this Song Sparrow.

Adel, Wonderful shots! Thanks for starting the new thread! Of course I adore the Tree Swallows!! The White-crowned Sparrow is sweet!

Burn, Nice shots of your Robin,Mourning Dove, Black-capped Chickadee and Goldfinch!! The Grackles are handsome but they can keep a lot of other birds from the yard. Some are even known to be predatory, killing and eating small birds but it's not common.

BTW I have an update coming on my Carolina Chickadee's. :-)

Duc, Lovely shot of the Song Sparrow!! Is that a new bird for you?

Sandusky, OH

Great job with the threads everyone! Adel thanks for starting the new one!
I took a visit to Sheldon's Marsh.

Myrtle Warbler...really wanted this shot to be sharper.

Nanny, Love the Bluebird,Cardinal Grackles and adorable Titmouse!!

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Burn, sorry about posting my photo when you weren't done yet.

Pelle, thanks, yes, that Song Sparrow was a new one for me.

Burd, wonderful photos of the Myrtle-still hard to call them that though! A big WOW on the Ruby crowned Kinglet. Mine has left the area, but I was only able to catch that once and it was no where as clear and beautiful as your pictures are. Congratulations!!

Nanny, love that Bluebird. Wonderful job on the Cardinals, but my favorite is the beautiful Grackles-great timing. Your Titmouse is a cutie too.

More of the Hooded Orioles have arrived here and I love them all.

They sure timed it right with my neighbor's apple tree blossoms.

I've had to put up 4 sugar water feeders (will probably have to add more tomorrow) to compensate for the orioles literally taking over since this latest rain has doubled the amount of hummingbirds I now have.

My Tree Swallows are still here even though we've again taken down the birdhouses. We've just ordered some Gilbertson PVC pipe houses to see if they'll keep the House Sparrows out. Hopefully the houses will arrive soon.

Thank you Adel for a new thread. Wow, I'm amazed at that Ruby-crowned Kinglet! What a beauty! Burd. I've my sweet White Throated Sparrow. Most often sparrows stay low on the ground. My feeder is higher up on 2nd level of the building. They rarely venture up that far. Or is that they prefer insects over grains/seeds?

Wow, Duc. Congrats on your doubled number of hummingbirds this season. Love the Orioles, is that one Baltimore Oriole, the one with the humminbird? Would you check her neck and see if there is black marking just right below her chin? If there is one, she's mine. lol. (the one that overwinter here all through the season).

South Hamilton, MA

Didn't realize that crowns could be 'up'. Great short Burd. Hooded orioles are fantastic.

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Hi Lily, sorry, there isn't a black mark below the chin. That's a female Bullock's. I'd love to see one of your Baltimores here, but unfortunately they're very rare to our area.

Marlton, NJ

Okay I have to move where you live Duc! Two types of Orioles and 4 (?) types of Hummingbirds? The Hooded Oriole is Gorgeous!!!! Love the shot of the Tree Swallow! Great shots!!

Lily, I love those sweet White-throated Sparrows. Have quite a few here and I love they squeaky see-saw sound.

A lot of birds love this ground bird bath right next to the evergreen. Here is a Blue Jay.

Pelle, if we couldn't move to where Duc is, at least we need to make a visit. Let's. You and I. ^_^

Red Bellied Woodpecker regular, routine visit at the feeder. Only seeds/grains feeder now. Since these guys/gals and the Downy share the backyard feeder. My Red Headed Woodpeckers have stayed away on the other side of the garden and ceased to come to the feeder.

Wonderful pic Lily!!

OK It's a deal Lily!

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

We now only need for Duc to extend the invitation. lol.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Toward the afternoon, the area becomes a little shady. Hope this pic. is clear enough to see the contrast of the sizes of the Woodpecker, the Goldfinch and the Brown Headed Nuthatch.

Adel...thanks for the new thread and good luck on getting the Swallows to nest for you.

Burn...great to see you posting your lovely birds. That Grackle is sure a looker!

Duc...once again...gorgeous shots. I'm sure jealous of your Orioles and Hummers!!

Burd...Wow..awesome shot on the RC Kinglet!

Nanny...Nice ones, those Grackles crack me up when they do that!

Lily...Cute WT Sparrow...I've never seen one eat from a feeder, just the feed on the ground. Your pics have the prettiest backgrounds.

Pelle...Love those shots with the ground waterer.

I am sending this post through while I can...I've already poofed 3 replies. This old dog refuses to learn new tricks!! LOL!!

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Great...it went through!! Here is our resident female Eastern Bluebird getting ready to feed her 5 new babies!! One egg left to hatch but I think it is too late for that one.
