I was not going to even think the word 'bator' but now I'm going to give it a try, but not until NEXT spring. I mean that too, next spring! The possibilities are just spinning in my head LOL.

It's addictive. The problem is, where do you put all the chicks when they grow into CHICKENS!!!
I got Chickens everywhere, Living Room, Billy's Room, BBQ area and then the regular Chicken coop... LOL and more to go in the bator... After this hatch, I may switch to Turkeys or ducks, what ever is laying then..
I have 1 duck hen but no drake. She is an Ancona. I like her a lot. Wish I could find a drake for her but they seem to be rare.
Cajun, we have someone in the Portland area who breeds Anconas. They had some at the garden./feed store near me. If I was ready for ducks I would have snatched them up.
They are so pretty and very good natured. I named mine Miss Quackers.

I drank Blueberry Coffee Sunday morning to welcome the new chicks in... LOL now the tank looks small with the waterer and a dish for food, got to move the 4 week olds outside with the 6 week olds to but the days old... LOL OH and another bator started... Someone Help me... I have gone bator crazy but they are sooooo cute... Up to 27 chickens, still only 6 ducks with all 3 sitting, 3 geese, and the one goose has been sitting I swear forever, but I am not attempting to get her off there yet, and the other goose laying... and the turkey started laying the other day...
I hear Cmoxon went to the Feed store...
I hope you have plenty of space to spread out. That sounds like a lot of possible poultry!

They are wonderful. I added 2 Silver Spangled Hamburg's today to the baby room, so next year it will be pure Silvers...
