I carried my 11 year old grandson to the Braves and Mets game Saturday for his birthday. We didn't have the best seats in the house but we were having a wonderful birthday experience. Thd Mets were dominating and it looked like our favorites were on their way to losing. At the end of the seventh inning a lot of people started to leave and seats started to open closer to the action. We moved down to the first seats in the left field sections. The bottom of the 9th came and Giles hit one off the fence right in front of where we were sitting. My son that was also along was standing reaching to catch the ball. The Braves made a memorable comeback and won the game 8 to 5 with Jordan hitting a grand slam homerun to close the 9th. We celebrated long and loud with all the fans not wanting to leave. It was a great comeback and a memory that I will never forget and I'm sure he won't either. When we got home we watched ourselves on every sports highlight we could find. It was a great day for us. Sorry Mets fan there'll be another day for ya'll but this day belonged to us. Jim
I was on national t.v.
Hey,way to go there,Jim. Monemts like those,a person never forgets. Memories last a life time.
I don't watch sports {nope none at all) but I'd have watched the highlights if I'd known you all were on! Sounds like you had agreat time!

man, I should have watched!! Of course, Jim won't tell you, we only put the best looking gardeners on tv here:)
Were you able to tape it?
I talked to my daughter-in-love earlier today and they did get it on tape. Paw paw is still on cloud 9. Not because I was on T.V. but because of the thought that some day he will be telling his grand kids about the time his Paw Paw gave him his best birthday present ever. I failed to mention also that my son caught a fly ball of the bat of Robin Ventura of the Mets. So he has that also as a memory. Just a great day. Thanks to all of you for the comments. Jim
