2010 Garden Photos - Part 4

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

... the cleanup, my back hurts just thinking about it! (lol)

Nice color on that Viburnum!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Nice pics WC, Tex and Victor. One zone warmer seems to make quite a difference this time of year although we are about 2-3 weeks ahead here as well. I love seeing the gardens coming back to life.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Correction on my JM/hydrangea combo shot from yesterday. The JM was Corallinum, not Octopus.

Thomaston, CT

Thanks, Tex, good for your zone, I'm a 5. White & orange cup daffs just opening.

Sure Victor.
I am planning on planting morning glory on one side and the cardinal climber on the side of our wooden swing set. Kids dont use them and I have to put it to good use. How much sunlight do they need? Is six hours good enough, perhaps eight if the dappled light is counted?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Lots of blooms when I got home(I knew that was going to happen)

There is a gorgeous two-tone magnolia in my neighborhood that I love. Have to get a photo of it.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Aren't the magnolias outdoing theirselves this year? They're magnificent, except for mine, which croaked last year. poo.
