This spider (5-7cm?) caught my attention as a rushing shadow in the front lights of my car while driving during night time and heavy rainfall on a dirtroad of Fitzgerald River National Park in the south of the state of Western Australia. I stopped the car, and left the lights on. The picture was taken with a flash. The spider has a brown mark on the back and a bright pattern on the front body - at least so it seems. I took several shots - the spider stalled during all this time. I hope the quality of the picture is sufficient for identification.

This is a mygalomorph (primitive) spider, but the image is not clear enough for me to be confident of a specific identification. Hopefully, an Australian expert can step in here...
