Hello Germinators! Is there a discussion on Bacopa from seed in the forum, search won't work for me.Thanks Joelle
Bacopa
What companies here sell as Bacopa is not accurately named, they are species and hybrids of Sutera. They come from South Africa, and have very small seeds (though I think that they "pellet" some of the seed here). Although I haven't started seeds of the commercial varieties, I have grown several SA Sutera spp from seed. They germinate readily at moderate temps under lights, sealing the pot in a ziplock baggie is helpful since the seeds are tiny and can accidentally dry out before germinating.
Thanks for your reply, your not kidding on their size...TINY! I have good germination and am quite happy with them. To buy the 'basket stuffer' size plants here are around $3 each!
