I had a business trip to the area and was able to squeeze in a couple of hours of birding each day. The area is a famous birding area and I was able to add many to my life list. Wonderful shots, Chris. What a great place. You've posted a number of birds I haven't heard of, let alone seen before. I love the photo of the Reddish Egret. The cute little pussy cat looks like it would take your arm off as soon as look at you. What is it?

Outstanding shots Chris!!! That's a wonderful trip you were on. I absolutely LOVE the Harris Hawk, Black-necked Stilt, Long-billed Thrasher, Hooded Oriole, Green Jay, Great Kiskadee, Golden-fronted Woodpecker, Chachalaca, Neotropic Cormorants, Altimira Oriole and of course the beautiful Bobcat.

Sorry to be so late, but wanted to tell you I loved all your pictures. Wow, so glad you went on that business trip. Love that first oriole, the Green Jay and that Chachalaca especially. So many different birds. After seeing all those birds, I'm not sure I'd ever want to go home.
