Dany - Beautiful vine/blooms! I was looking at the second photo: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=7640113 and the leaves look heart-shaped. Are they? Does that vine have a cultivar name? Really nice, indeed!

Helena - I, too, like the Fujishibori and am growing another one this year! Your deep pink NOID is lovely, too!

I will be growing Sazanami again this year.

Tanks for sharing.
Me too, I'll be growing Fujishibori dark and also the clear.

Helena, I hope you will have in your collection the beautiful Blue Marble, 2 seeds I got from you are in water yet.
Becky , your Sazanami is great - they are so many sorts of S.! I get from you 2 X two seeds of S. , I suppose 2 different strains ?
In 2010 I will develop my Azolerjos I discover in 2009.

p.s.: on that mix pic you can see the difference btw Scarlett o'Hara and Violet Japanese.

In this serie the most attracting is the Blue with Shadows.I lov it !

Beautiful blooms Dany, Helena and Becky.. I loved the Blue Blizzard Becky shared with me. Will definitely grow it again this summer.
This is a lighter version.

Blue Blizzard again ....A light and a dark flower open at the same time.

Dany - The Sazanami I sent you were 2 seeds from Onalee's and 2 seeds from me. The ones from my vine were crossed with the solid white blooming NOID (Japanese seed mix) that you shared with me last year. So I would guess that the Sazanami seeds from Onalee's would grow true like the one I grew last year. The cross may be a surprise! Perhaps the reverse in color ... white blooms with lavender blizzard/stripes. I am sure they will be interesting however they turn out! ;-) Good luck with all 4 seeds! :-)

Is that photo your "Blue with Shadows" blooms?

Jackie - I, too, loved the Blue Blizzard. I got the seeds originally from Shawna. They blew me away when they bloomed. Beautiful blooms ... and leaves, too!

Yes it is a photo of last summer.

An other pic ...... interesting isn't it ?
Emma was with this purple in some of her cultivars.

Thanks Becky. Dany not sure what color that is. It is lovely.
The Xiong's was an amazing color last yr. Will revisit it this yr.

Yes Jackie, beautiful contrast with yellow leaf and dark purple flowers.
I finally find the name of this particular purple : Parma Purple .
Here is my new dictionary for the color.

http://www.saintsens.com/en/purple-shirt.htm
Have you see they make Shibori Parma Purple Shirts.LOL

Hamaginga in this color is sophisticated !

Beautiful blooms everybody!

Dany, I'll be looking forward to seeing your Blue Marble blooms!! I'm going to be growing seeds from Blue Marble that turned tan instead of the dark ones that Emma sent me. I believe it's reverted to what they were before or a cross but equally beautiful I'm sure!

Thumbnail by helenahkh

Helena, that is a fine foto you took of Blue Marble. I hope folks resist using the initials for a shortcut name reference LOL oops.

Joseph

Dany, nice Hamaginga. I hope to grow one of those since you
shared sds with me last yr.
Helena, love your Blue Marble, very striking

I loved this one, whatever it is, lol
Maybe Emma's Plum Purple Velvet that Helena shared with me.
Helena, Let me know if you need seeds back of this one.

Dany - Is your lavender Hamaginga the correct color of the bloom or is this http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/103768/ ?? Both are stunning!

Jackie - Your Xiong is such a vivid color against those light green leaves! Very attractive! And the one directly above my post is quite pretty, too! Love that variegated foliage. Seems we are seeing more and more variegated vines in the I. nil category. Must be a dominant gene. :-)

Helena - Your Blue Marble is jumps right off the page! Also another very vivid one! Beautiful!

szarvas, Hungary

Becky, I guess we will see in your garden in 2010 Nouel series "Splash" with Purple Splash, red S.- pink - brown - blue - black - etc. .....
I think it is a cultivar that should be bred with strong colors without marge. But get rid of purple color will be difficult.
This cultivar of my collection also deserves to be multiplied.

Thanks everyone! A very nece one too Jackie!

Another beautiful one Dany!

The name of this one escapes me but I plan to grow it again! Too many senior moments for me!

Dany - "The 2010 Nouel series "Splash" with Purple Splash, red S.- pink - brown - blue - black - etc. ... "

Are you saying the "Splash" cultivar comes in different colored blooms or am I misreading your comment? BTW - That lavender bloom is a beauty!

Helena - Very lovely! I like the soft color and the stripes! :-)

szarvas, Hungary

Becky, did you hybridized Purple Splash? it is so beautiful that it would be interesting to have it in different colors. Splash Red or Blue.

Here one that absolutely must be present each summer.

During hybridization he brings two characters : "long bloomer" and especially the white color of his cross. With a blue blizzard he makes a tricolor: white and two shades of blue.

There's that I have photographed and I have not seen.

See this gem!

Dany - I tried to cross Mauve Splash with one other vine last year. But will not say which seeds they might be because I don't want folks to be disappointed if the cross didn't take. It wouldn't be the Mauve Splash seeds, though. It will be another one that everyone in the seed swap got! ;-) So I am interested to see what everyone got. I tried crossing about 40-50 blooms of this other vine and got seeds from ALL of the blooms. But the seeds might not be a cross. So ...

Love your two blooms above. I, too, like the wide white spokes! Nice, very nice!

Oh my gosh, this is the first time I've been able to get in this site since Monday afternoon. I entered thru a link. Everytime I type in Daves Garden, I get the site is down for maintenance. The computer
automatically switching my Daves Garden. com address for a Split Coast Stampers. com. I don't understand. Has this happened to anyone else?

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Jackie - Sounds like you've been spammed with spyware or a virus.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Becky, I wrote to Terry, Melody answered. She told me Split Coast Stampers
was purchased at the same time as Daves Garden. She told me that I was
not the only one to have this problem. So I downloaded Firefox and it took
me right to Daves instead of having to enter on a link.
Can't tell you offhand why the Daves Garden addy took me inside the Split
Coast Stampers website but hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I knew with my Norton, it should not be a virus but nothing surprises me
anymore. lol

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Jackie - Glad to see you found a solution to your mixed up link issue. I know a lot of folks like Foxfire and Linxus. Don't usually have such problems when using them. :-)

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Becky, How nice to be able to get into this, my favorite site. I had Foxfire on my old
computer. Forgot how much faster it is than AOL.
Beautiful unknown bloom Helena.
Dany beautiful bloom in post ending 1926.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I plan on growing my Blue Silk, actually it was Joseph's Blue Silk.
It was superior to mine in every way. I also have some Blue Silk
from Emma I would like to grow this yr.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I loved these blooms from last yr. Becky's Lavender Beauty which was
