Oven method is great - however

I have fallen in love with JanLyn's oven method - it works fantastic! HOWEVER - a Big Sign needs to be plastered on the oven for zany teenagers who mindlessly turn the over on hungry for pizza. I had a whole tray of cassia alata seeds I had germinated in baggies - maybe 30 plants, had transplanted them all in little cups and they were so pretty with their tiny green leaves just poking out of the soil. Then disaster - the cups were just beginning to melt when she realized - um -oh-grannys plants! So now a big sign in RED - Please don't cook the plants!

That just sounds like a bad idea. Try a drawer or a cupboard.

Will you please explain me what JanLyn's oven method is?

I'm not familiar with the oven method, but once the seeds have germinated the light that's in the oven is probably not going to be sufficient for the seedlings (or close enough to them to do any good) so I would pull them out at that point and put them in a windowsill or under fluorescent lights.

The oven method simply means : turn oven light on and put seed trays in there until germination occurs. The oven will become quite warm with just that light on, ( liken to a mini greenhouse) and the heat combined with the light has germinated every seed I have done that way. I use the seed trays with domes, have to watch that it does not get too damp. Some seeds took longer, but they all germinated - I will always use these method on special seeds. I never turn the oven light off, they received the warmth and light 24/7. I love this method - it works!
Big sign needed if others use oven, you ask them to remove plants while cooking.

If the oven gets warm from the lights then that's another reason to remove them from the oven once they've sprouted--warm and not quite enough light is a recipe for really leggy seedlings. I could see why it would help for germination though, I'd just get them out of there once they sprout.
