Have never seen this until last summer and it decimated my lilies.... Hopefully I won't see one this year to post a photo but it is 3/8" long and red and leaves poop behind wherever it goes. so 2 questions...What's it name and how to I deal with it if it's back this year? I have 2 Asiatic lilies that are usually taller than I am and this year they barely made it 2 feet and no blossoms because they were eaten by these buggers.... BTW I live in Western Mass

These sound like lily leaf beetles, Lilioceris lilii (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/yczvujk for a publication that provides control advice.
