I went outside and was looking at the flower beds. I found there were seeds in my monkshood spent flower. I harvested the seed and would like to know if I can ws them?
Thanks for your help

Monks hood
Yes, but monkshood seed is not very viable on dry storage.
I don't know if that applies when they are still on the plant.
I would try them as a winter sow. Some of them might be good.
Monkshood seeds of some varieties should be moist packed in damp vermiculite if it is to be stored or shipped.
I have winter sowed seeds which came moist packed and others which came dry.
I am waiting for spring to see what happens.
The best way is to let them self sow. I find this is the best way for me and my Monkshood

I just ordered several varieties of monkshood and was going to wintersow them. I did have one monkshood that I killed by moving it. It was the most beautifull plant and the voles and deer never touched it.
