It appears to be brown, smaller than an inch, with a big oval back? Slow moving as well. What is it?

This appears to be a brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys; Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Pentatomidae). These often come indoors in search of overwintering shelter. See http://tinyurl.com/3bm2h7 for more detailed information from Rutgers University.
