Apricot sprite sounds perfect! So does black adder and black and blue - I guess I'll need to be at Karen's, then. I gotta find MS Works so I can set up my datebook so I know what's going on.
Invitation to a Southeast MA RU during peak daylily bloom
I have never rooted a salvia before.. but I will give it a shot
Thank you :).
I'm wondering if agastache is easy to root. I have Black Adder and could root some. I had it seed in. Or at least I think that one is Black Adder that seeded in. Anyhow, I have another plant. I'm hoping maybe it's Tutti Frutti.

oh goodie!!.. I did the cuttings today anyway... so you will just have more.. the thing I found is you have to take the cuttings from young non flowering stems... they wilt right after cutting I try and move fast and get them in soil before they do... in a day or two they will spring back and take root in no time... since they are in the mint family ... I would say as easy as coleus
I am still waiting to see what colors come out of the fragrant seed mix.. last year I had some pretty pink ones... maybe a shade lighter than cotton candy
Oh, sounds nice! I will try and root some cuttings, too.
I'm going to try some ground layering of some rhodies this year, as well as some air layering on them and other shrubs and see what happens. I'm sure they won't be ready be the time the RU is here, but maybe for next year...
I have 2 coleus cuttings from about a week ago that are looking good. A third one bit the dust.

Just want to bump this thread to the top. Maybe I can get a few more people interested. I might try over on the DL forums.
Carrie, can I put you down as coming for sure?
Karen
I'm planning on coming, if the creek don't rise, etc. Hope Carrie comes too!
Looking forward to seeing Patches.
I hope I come too, also!
Just added you guys to the list. Looking forward to seeing you! You're on the list, too, CCG.
