Mail-Order Seeds
I agree with everyone else's recommendations of seed companies. I have never been disappointed by any of the well-known ones. As for Parks, I've been ordering from them for many years and have never, ever been disappointed or dissatisfied with their seeds, plants or garden products. Pine Tree is also very, very good, as is Johnny's. As a matter of fact, there isn't one seed company that I can say anything negative about.
Where's Harwinton?
We're in the northwest hills of CT, just east of Litchfield, south of Torrington. A lovely community with many old colonial homes and one traffic light.
Ahhhh, White Flower Farms, Talbot's and that fabulous little restaurant with the to-die-for pate! That's what the Litchfield area means to me!!!
