jasminum nudiflorum from cuttings?

San Angelo, TX(Zone 7b)

I just received some winter jasmine cuttings. What is the best way to go about planting them? I bought them thinking they were houseplants? Can they be?
Here's a picture of them. I've had them in water a few days since I got them.
I got some Rootone-rooting hormone. How do I do this?
Please and Thanks,
Elizabeth

Well I cut the tips at an angle and dipped in water and then rootone, planted almost, not quite, half of its length in the soil.
I put them in a window that gets the morning sun here in West Texas.
Did I do right? I'd sure like to know before it's too late to fix it.
Thanks, Elizabeth

I have always started my cuttings of them in water. But, you sound like you did it o.k. You will soon see if they are going to make it. They are really pretty hardy and should be fine.

Thanks I hope so
