Several of the seeds I purchased this year say to germinate in sandy soil. So, I'm thinking that standard seed starting mix is not the way to go. What would you guys recommend?

I would pick up a small bag of cactus soil mix or add sand and/or perlite to your normal mix.
Cactus soil!?? Why didn't I think of that one? LOL!
