The Common Grackle Thread

Caught "quite a few" images of Grackle's this past weekend, and was focusing on the colors they can produce when you get some decent light and good activity. Although I thought the photo's could have been better their not too bad.

It's nice that they don't really flood the feeder like Starling's.

Camera's work great with light. lol

the Starlings were trying to throw all the peanuts out of the feeder, I was half laughing and annoyed at the same time lol

thought this was a good catch... color's are amazing

really like the bronze coloring mixing with the blues

I,m not sure if grabbing the bill means anything, but the Grackle's seem to think so, I have another shot of the same routine...coming up

the 2nd shot of the grabbing of the bill...didn't really see it happen, but the camera caught it

dang! the peanuts are getting low...lol

grab one before their all gone...

the female Brown-headed Cowbird wanted to know what's all the hub bub...

had about over forty at one time, I had food in different spots, so not too much crowding here..

Ahhhh, what eye candy for me too! Love those grackles and your photos were fantastic. The colors on these birds really shine in the sun. Great job!
