Here a picture of a cat (larva) that I took last summer, and I have still not been able to id. Any help would be appreciated.

This is just a guess; it may be a sycamore tussock moth caterpillar (Halysidota harrisii; Lepidoptera: Arctiidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/y85w986 for a more typical example.
