I use the mites and the wasps, sometimes ladybugs. I know the mites are working when the new leaves don't have the yellow dots. Of course, the best are the wasps - mummified aphids are a sure sign they're on the job. I can't spray insecticides near the ponds, so I rely heavily on the beneficials for the plants.
