For winter any snowy photo will do. I think the Northeast forum has plenty they could submit from this winter alone!! LOL

I think it should not just be a winter scene, but a northeast or New England type of shot. Maybe a Christmas one?

How can one distinguish New England from, say, Illinois or Michigan? I believe it's possible, I'm just asking.

It's a good question. Something like this says New England winter to me. We don't have to use one of our own photos. It can be something we can find and download, assuming we have permission to use it.

The covered bridge is my pick, unless there's a better one for fall---I know I've seen a lot of flaming maples around covered bridges in Yankee Mag.

I like covered bridges too. Anyone have a shot of one in the winter? Can't just use that one without permission.

we have a covered bridge here in pepperell - only one in MA - should be ready for picture taking next winter - state has been "repairing" it for 5 years

That one is up past my brothers GF's house...about 2 1/2 hours away.
