Is aruncus (goatsbeard) hard to grow from seed? Also need a source for hakone alba striata grass seeds.

I have good luck starting aruncus, always keep my seed refrigerated until ready to start. Put the seeds on moist grow mix covered with saran wrap and then on the heat mats, with light 10-12 hours a day germination is slow, 2-6 weeks, and the babies are tiny, but it works for me. Annette
