My son lives in Phoenix and for the past couple of years has been on his own personal mission to rescue and find homes for stray cats. Although he's adopted many of them himself (up to 6 now!) he's having a difficult time finding a home for Joey - isn't he beautiful? He's trying a new approach and has developed a website to find a home for Joey: http://adoptjoeythecat.com/. I'm trying to help him and am posting the site anywhere I can think of to reach as many people as possible. If you're interested or know anyone who might be, please contact him through the website. FYI, I think he made a mistake though, he probably meant to say that "vehicle travel is (NOT) out of the question"! I'm pretty sure he'd be willing to travel as long as the distance is reasonable :)
Adopt Joey The Cat
Oh, wish that I could......Joey is beautiful. I have 7 now....
And BTW...that must be one good kid that you raised.
Gee, I'm only about 1500 miles, is that too far? Just kidding, but I'd take him if it were closer for sure.
54 acres and three cats for snake control and pettin'.
I never could get too many good snakers!
I hope he finds a good home.
Mine are all outdoor cats, if you call sleeping in the greehouse outdoors. It is more comfortable in there than the house sometimes.
They are the bosses around here, except for when the two dogs are being the bosses.
Good luck!
Charlene
Thank you, yes I'm pretty darned proud of him :) His sister visited him last fall and had to share a bedroom/bathroom with his cats. She now fondly refers to him as "The Cat Man"!
Charlene, we have "nursery" cats as well :) I always worry about them when the weather gets cold but one of them is 14 years old and is probably healthier than any "house cat"!
I cannot imagine that nobody has taken Joey yet...I mean, look at that face!
