I start a lot of seeds and use jiffy mix soiless seed starter, wondering if there is some way after I get my seedlings out to kill any seeds left in the mix and reuse it? Thanks. Annette
Anyone ever reuse seed starter
You can sterilize it, though I don't know the specifics of what the correct process is. Maybe someone will enlighten both of us. Or maybe try to google "soil sterilizing" or something to that effect.
btw, good question... I hope someone has a good and simple answer, like using a microwave, or oven, or maybe even some kind of solar method.
Here a DG article about Damping Off the talks about how to sterilize soil.

Thank you, very helpful. Annette
