Help ID this bug problem QUICK B4 it's 2 Late

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

So far this is only on my zebrina hollyhock that is currently potted in my greenhouse.

I haven't a clue what it is. I need to get rid of it before it travels to other plants.

I found this bug on the leaf, but only saw just the one, so I am not sure if it is related.
I kind of squashed his wing, so the photo is a bit off due to that damage.

I have greatly magnified this photo, to see if there was something I was missing. I see what appears to be a tiny green bug in the magnification.

You appear to have two unrelated problems: The insects in the last two images appear to be aphids (plant lice), usually controllable with the application of insecticidal soap. The leaf in the top image appears to be infected with hollyhock rust (Puccinia malvacearum). See http://tinyurl.com/yf56bhz for an image of both sides of an infected leaf and http://tinyurl.com/yg838fm for a fact sheet that includes control recommendations.

I cannot thank you enough for your help.

I am going to be removing leaves everyday until I see no more rust. I am spraying the whole greenhouse full of plants with insecticidal soap.

I will be moving the zebrina hollyhock out of the greenhouse to give it a better exchange of air. I will only move it in for hard freeze weather.

I followed several searches on the rust and you were so right about it.

Thanks again,
Charlene
