Thank you for your birthday wishes. I didn't know until i talked to SoCal on the phone today. I am sorry I cannot get to the round-up this year. i have to be home to baby my heirloom tomato seedlings for the Round-Up which will be held at my house again this year.

I will be in O.C. Feb 9th for 2 1/2 weeks and would be happy to get together with anyone then. Eventually I will plan another garden party at my house there.

Right now i am busy working on Dave's new website.

Hi KaperC. It is a crocus, one of the earliest bloomers in spring. I often see pics of it coming up in snow. So pretty that way! This one is Crocus vernus Pickwick.

I should know that by now, Kell, picture pop up all over, but I guess until I see them growing it won't stick in my brain. Beautiful flower.
