Thanks
I think I have a great spot. Am looking for source. I left my name at the Plant farm at smokey point. She might get them for me.
Now that you said voles that is where I saw the picture. Hate voles II something like that.
Eremurus are sure dramatic.
Sorry to here about the bulbs. I never heard of voles before. Had to google that one. I just have moles. Thanks
What's blooming in February?
Springcolor - are you familiar with the Guides and Information Tab?
If you click on it and then click on Plantfiles, you'll be able to search for any plant you're interested in. There's a button in the upper right-hand corner that says Search Plants. Type in the name of the plant in the box that appears and click on the button to the right (Search Plant Files). If any members have posted pictures of the plant, you'll see them in the results.
Click on the plant you are interested in and it will bring up a page of information on that plant, with a list of members who have said they have it for trade and vendors who have it for sale:

It looks like Brent and Becky's Bulbs sell this and that Buggy Crazy in Lebanon Oregon also sells it.
Kate, interesting tidbit. Buggy Crazy says that "deer and rodents don't bother it." Of course, that's 'Romance'. Maybe 'Tiger Woods' is a little more appetizing to rodents. ;-)
heheheheheeeeee......
I'll check that out. I'm new to site. thanks
It was a long time before I realized that you could get to a vendor from the plant files. I was so focused on other methods. I neglected to put the links down:
Hey, look. Eremurus 'Cleopatra' is on sale!

You can also look up vendors to see what kind of experiences other members have had with them. Use the Garden Watchdog on the Products and Sources Tab. H.ere's the page for Buggy Crazy

Oh my my look at that! Looks like best time to plant is fall. Thank you
Surprise. I found this little clump in our front field yesterday while checking on some bamboo I planted as a screen between us and the neighbor. The neighbor's house was the original farmhouse, and part of the old driveway runs through our property. I'm guessing this little clump was planted years ago and has been hiding under the blackberry brambles. Last year my husband brush-hogged this area a couple times. I'll have to search for more treasures.
