Hi Dahli I have been missing you. Was about ready to send out the search party for you but did not know where to start.
Sparkly woolly goodness for Dahlianut
Dahlia! Welcome back! They are called stitch markers, I have a couple of sets of the lovelys myself. My DH asked why I had so many pairs of the same earrings...lol.
Thanks Loreen. I like your DH already ^_^ They are SO earringish. ok what does one do with 'stitch markers'? Do you just crotchet them into your pattern? They are very prettiful so would look luvly methinks.
No, you use them to mark pattern changes. I don't know how they would be used in crochet as I only knit. Maybe a fellow crocheter can tell you.
ahhhhhhhhh I can see how that would be very helpful and if you accidently knitted one in, that would be ok too ^_^
All hail, Dahlianut! Many people have been wondering where thou hast been! It sounds as though you're in fine form, anyway!
Us crocheters use the same way.
thought I do not have any pretty ones. Darn.
I was looking for some for you dear wren and LOOKIE there are sheeps ^_^ http://www.creationsjacqueline.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=13
WOWSER I just looked at the price EEK! Now I understand why alot make their own.
So pleased to hear that she arrived in good form - it took me far too long to spin her for you, so no worries on it taking a while to report her arrival!! I thought in the event that you had her knitted, and in the event that someone else knitted her for you, they might need the stitch markers, if they were doing a complicated pattern. :-)
Welcome back Dahlianut ! There has been a distinct lack of nuttiness around here of late.
Dear Wren,
I can make you some pretty crochet markers if you would like. I have the crochet clasps to do it. What color theme would you like? I have lots of beads and gem chips.
MISS Dahlianut...So good to hear from you.... and know all is well....
Hi back all ^_^ Wren that iris (siberian? japenese?) is GORJUS!!!
Dahlia it is a Louisiana iris. I have a lot of blue ones, a couple of purple and a small yellow one. I think the blue ones like this yard best. Love them then will grown in our dry soil or in an pond. I have a blue one in my water garden.
Thanks Wren. I am irisii challenged. Took me many moons to get them to bloom in my garden.
Wren - your crochet stitch markers are finished and will go in the mail tomorrow. Hope you will enjoy using them. :-)
Thank you very, very much I have another crochet project to get started if I can draw my self away from writing. I have 2 articles published on Cubit and there may be a book in the works. LOL
Cubit....you mean the mesh generation software tool? Or another Cubit?
Cubits.org Dave's new site.
oh....sorry....confused....didn't know there was a new site!
Found it!
Having mentioned the name you may see your post disappear.
I thought that too....
Due to the men in white or the men in black?.....
Nope did not disappear. Miss C if you have not already joined send me a d-mail with your e-mail and I will send you a invite.
I didn't find it; do you use the same name there?
It is under my real name but the title is "The Beautiful Northwest Florida Part One"
the other is "Stories from the Writers Cubit: Love that Lasts by Wren"
Nice article, Wren! You make me want to visit!
Thanks you there will be more parts to it. I am waiting for a slide scanner so I can use some pictures I have on slides.
