This dragonfly is in the family Libellulidae; although some of the thoracic markings do not appear typical for the species, the white face and green eyes make me think this may be a male blue dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis) - see http://tinyurl.com/yc7llf4 and http://tinyurl.com/yfw79tk
