California Backyards #2

No. San Diego Co., CA(Zone 10b)

We're talking about anything and everything in our California backyards (or front yards, side yards...you know).
We came from here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1022170/#top

I think it goes..."niener,niener, niener", but said in the same spirit.

I got an email today about the Great Backyard Bird Count coming up next month. Last year was my first time to participate, thanks to someone on DG posting it in one of the CA forums (KaperC, I think?)

Anybody seeing new hummers? We've had three at a time on the feeder in the last week, and I'm pretty sure I saw a Black-Chinned this morning. Better get the Oriole feeder out soon, so it's waiting for them when they arrive. :-)

Spring, she is a coming!

The one that hangs out at the farm pond is a BCHummer. DH said so, and his eyes are better I do have photos of him posted on the Daily Walks thread. I have my regulars or their off spring still hanging out in the gh. : - )
Never stopped taking photos of them. Just quit posting them.
Walking home last night on my walk, I heard the toads and frogs singing down by the farm pond. I just had to smile.
Spring is definitely coming, and me with roses still to prune. First I need to sharpen my clippers, though.
