Chinese Foxglove baggie method?

DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

has anyone used the baggie method for this (Rehmannia elata Chinese Foxglove)
very tiny seed and I don't see why it wouldn't work...I used it for S. African Foxglove and it worked fine...but thought I'd ask first.

I use the kitchen towel/baggie method for all my seeds---except tiny seeds. Those, I plant in a plastic container (with cover) filled with moistened fine peat moss (squeeze out excess water) and place in a plastic container with cover. I then sprinkle fine seeds on to the peatmoss and mix it. Cover the container and wait for the seeds to sprout.

Once seeds begins to germinate, I scoop up the seed/peat mixture and spread it on a seeding flat filled with seeding mix. Pat the mix down to allow the seed to make contact with moisture.

Since fine seeds require light to germinate, I use a plastic container that is clear. Likewise the cover. I save the containers that you get from Albertson's when you buy their salads.

Hwever, if you prefer the baggie method, there is no reason why you can't do it that way.

Thanks Blooma....only thing about putting in the peat mixture in a container is that in MY fridge, lord knows someone might eat it or it would get lost in the back somewhere !!!!Baggies I can put in the "butter shelf" and tape it shut, everyone knows that''s a "cold seed storage area" not food.

You are welcome. You can put the peat mix in baggies just as well as a container. The seeds won't know or care.
