I know the benefits of utilizing a heat mat for seed starting.Does it help or hinder with cuttings?Maybe it depends on the cutting?I am thinking, for begonias and african violets.Your thoughts, thanks,Edge
Heat Mat for cuttings?
I don't use heat for a.v.'s or Begonias - I just root a.v.'s in water and Begonia leaves in good potting soil, in the greenhouse. Any window would work.
I use heat for things such as Passiflora cuttings, Thumbergia cuttings - anything tropical.
Thanks Kay will follow your advice.Edge
