White Egg Plant Cloud Nine

DeLand/Deleon Spring, FL(Zone 8b)

The frost/freeze got my Cloud Nine eggplant. There were two eggplants on it that had gotten too mature to eat, they didn't freeze. Can I save the seeds from them....if so, how...so far I have the fruit sliced in half sitting drying out and the seeds are quite visible...but don't want to bother if they won't be good.

The seeds should be good when they are from mature fruit.
I would save them and dry them.

The Ashworth book on Seed Saving suggests that seeds taken when fruit is edible
will be less viable than when taken from overly mature fruit. We follow nature on this,
I guess.
