Have any of you folk had success with Buddhist pine (Podocarpus Macrophylla) seed (soaking, stratification etc.)?
Buddhist Pine/Podocarpus Macrophylla seed?
Why are you asking ? Do you have seed?
I planted fresh spruting Kusumaky Var. seeds in April and they have started germinating in June. I have lost some seedlings because of funghi but the other are doing OK.
At the same time I have planted other "not so fresh" seeds and there is no sign of lfe yet. Therefore, if I try again, I will look for fresh seeds again.
