I am looking for a scientific name for this tree. I would also like to know how hardy it is.

Brian, they look like Dr Suess trees! LOL really different. Hope someone knows what they are.

What they remind me of are Sequoiadendron giganteum hacked each winter for christmas stuff (wreaths, bows, etc). where was the pic taken?

Ditto to Growin, except I suspect they're Cryptomeria japonica, not Sequoiadendron giganteum. A close-up of some of the foliage would tell.
