I think they are low on my list too Voss. I was just suggesting some she could try because it is so warm there too. I have to go outside tomorrow and see if the ones I planted last year are coming back up or not.

Oh I am not into buying tulips. Done that. LOL. I was deep into playing with all my tulip pictures.

Marie, I bought some bulbs (not tulips) from Eden Blooms 3 weeks ago on eBay and I have not heard a word from them. I am not impressed.

I just got home from sushi sushi. Took us 90 minutes to get into San Francisco in this rain.

I had a fun day today. I went to see Paul and so enjoyed his garden. He said he got your email Marie.

So many cool things he has planted.

Kell: Send the eBay seller an email and ask them where your bulbs are. They are a new seller, and so might not realize that they need to regularly communicate with their buyers.

I got 2 of these, smaller ones. Of course I cannot think of the name this minute.

Looks like a Massonia pustulata. Is it?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Hi Marilyn! I sure need to. I think you only get a month to leave bad feedback.

And here is Paul's Haemanthus deformis from above, in flower. Old set of leaves dying, new set coming in.

Pretty!

Hi again Marilyn!

I think it is Massonia bifolia.

I also bought a Massonia depressa. I am always attracted to spots.

I knew the flower buds didn't look right! I had to look this one up, though. I found out why it looks different - it used to be in its own genus and called Whiteheadia bifolia, and was only recently reclassified to Massonia. I love it! Did you get it from Paul?

I love Massonia depressa! Yours looks great.

Yes, from Paul. He had a few of them. I think they are so cool. You need one too, Marilyn.

Faeden, if you mean "new" as less than a year, then we may be talking about 2 diff vendors. I have bought from Eden Blooms in AZ 3 years. Kell, I think they do their best to be service oriented, they should come thru for you. you have dmail

SF Bay Area, CA(Zone 9b)

Kell - I think I need to go see Paul!

vossner - It might be 2 different vendors. The only Eden Blooms I could find on eBay has a feedback total of 15, 4 as a buyer and 11 as a seller. Even though they've been a member for 3.5 years, that's still too new for me to buy from them. But also they're shown to be in Michigan, not Arizona. Here they are: http://shop.ebay.com/member/_W0QQ_dmdZ1?_frompage=itemsbyseller&_userid=edenblooms&_fcm=1&_tokentext=478002&tokenstring=DZQclgQAAAA%253D&_sop=1&_ipg=50

Unfortunately one can't search eBay by, for example, "Eden Blooms." And I finally got my brain unstuck and remembered to check Garden Watchdog, but couldn't find them there either. Could you give me their eBay seller name as you know it? It's making me crazy that I can't find the one you know. Thanks!

ahhh, faeden. i think we were talking about two diff. sellers. This is who I was talking about.

his ebay name is rarebulbs.

edited to add: I'm having trouble opening the list you posted. i'll try again tomorrow.

...zone envy....y'all are killing me! LOL

the photos are gorgeous!

vossner - I couldn't go directly to the seller either. The page I got asked that I input some numbers into a box in order to do so. That's to keep spammers out, I think. That seller's name is edenblooms.

I looked at EdensBlooms' website and their eBay seller name, and I agree - they and the eBay seller edenblooms are two different entities. I wish eBay would let us search by seller name as well as USER name!

I took a look at their feedback rating, and they have two negatives on the same day - December 31 - wherein the buyers state they never got their bulbs. The seller responded to one of them, stating that they got behind because of the holidays and an unexpected illness and would look into it. Also, several of the "neutrals" stated they were very slow to ship and not good with communication. I think Kell's probably OK, but she still should email them right away re her order, stating she will leave negative feedback if she doesn't hear from them.

Ok Kell I am way jealous. You have some cool new bulbs.
Edens blooms is his website but he sells on e-bay as rarebulbl like Voss said.
