My apartment has been infested with these bugs for over a year, and I haven't been able to figure out what they are. They're very small and haven't been much of a nuisance, but I often find them attached to my clothes when I'm out in public, and in my bed when I wake up in the morning, and on my countertop and scattered all around my floor, and it's been grossing me out and getting on my nerves for quite a while. I've tried to do some research but I haven't been able to get a definite answer as to what they are, so I thought you guys might be able to help me out.
I'd say they're about 1/3 a centimeter long, if that helps.
What kind of bug is this? Please help.
This could be one of he flour beetles in the genus Tribolium - see http://tinyurl.com/yagnwfp for an example. You might try checking your pantry and any other food storage areas for signs of insect infestation, and discard anything found to be infested. See http://tinyurl.com/yh8bp4a for a fact sheet that includes control recommendations.
