3 in 1 angel trumpet plant in Dutch Garden's Spring 2010 cat

Seattle, WA

Last January I wrote in about 3 Brugs in a pot.(picture was in Dutch garden catalog) I received them and plant the three together (they were twisted) in my tropical garden. Anyhoo. The plants have grown about 4 to 5 feet tall. They are just now doing the "Y" branching and have develop a bloom. thats right a bloom....My previous Brugs grew to 6 feet tall and had 100's of blooms. So this is a major letdown. Now today Seattle is having its first summer storm of the season and its raining pigs and chickens and the winds are gusty. I was hoping for an Indian summer... So I will see if these brugs ever amount to anything. Did anyone else try and plant 3 brugs together?

HAHAHA well yes I'm afraid I have a pile of containers with more than one in it together ... Oh.. Veronica if you wait long enough ... at some point they will be blooming together... after all it's fall now... it's now or never ....Happy 1st of September everyone.... and only 95* F today... Hot yeaterday also.. last night you could stand in the garden and hear the buds dropping.. ..that's OK... there's got to be thousands of others .. that won't give up so easily..
almost like the three n one... here's an interspecies brug passiflora container... well they were ment to be a bit more seperate... but the Passi kept leaving the trellis and climbing on the Brug.. I'll post a three in one in a minute.. as soon as I get up and capture the fleeting moments on film...
Gardening here is like a cage fight... [ everyone goes in together ... and only one gets to walk out ] although here every survivor is a winner...[ Democratic ??? ] [ woops ]

The 3 brugs I odered from Burgess were supposed to be a white, a yellow & a pink. All were yellow & I think I'm lucky that they lived. Wouldn't buy ANYTHING from them again.

Hugs,
Judy
