I am trying to help someone prepare for a garden tour in 2012. They want lilies that will bloom in July "when the daylilies bloom". Can you tell me when peak daylily bloom is? Which classifications bloom for you then? Any help appreciated!

Ramona, there's a bunch of folks growing a lot of daylilies on the Ohio River Valley forum. You may want to start a thread there. I'm a zone south of Columbus, so I'm thinking they're a couple of weeks or so behind peak time here, which is mid June. In general, my daylilies and Asiatics/LA hybrids peak about the same time.
