only having a low of 40 Friday and high of 60 Yipee!!!!! Going to be like that through at least Tuesday but going to have a rainy weekend. Was still 31 here last night

27 here last night & nearly 45 here at 9 am this morning.. quite a change. Chickens are behaving horridly bc of it. They are all irritable with each other. Guess they don't like the weather changing so drastically either.
I'm looking forward to warmer temps. Be glad when they get here.
It's warm here now after four and a half days well below freezing. I fixed all my broken pipes yesterday and hope I can avoid future freezes. - But it's not even mid-January yet...
It got up to 39 degrees today. Beautiful, sunshine today. I could have really enjoyed the day if I hadn't had a headache. It was pleasant getting the work done. And one of my bantam pullets layed her first egg!!!
