Hi Ken,
A dipterist from Diptera.info has told me that Sialis lutaria :
quote: "belongs to the Megaloptera order now.
The Megaloptera were formerly considered part of a group then called
Neuroptera, together with lacewings and snakeflies."
Could you please update the Order name ?
Thank you! :)

Order name changed of Sialis lutaria.
Thanks Myriam, I did wonder about the order when you added it, I should have checked more carefully.
Particularly interesting to me as I just found one of this order for the first time, when light-trapping for moths near a creek, when several large Dobson-flies - Archichauliodes sp. were attracted to the light: http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/6220/
I have transferred the Sialidae to the order Megaloptera both for your species and in the index.
Happy new year,
Ken
Thanks Ken!
What a nice coincidence you met a specie of this order recently!
For a strange reason the link you gave doesn't work for now, but I've googled Archichauliodes sp. and have an idea.
I have one this type too and I have a clue now about its id.!
A happy New Year to you too! :)
Myriam
