Thank you all for your kind words, we are finding it very empty around here without the babies around as you might imagine...Mom especially feels very lost as they were her constant companions when I was at work.
Carol (Alohahoya) and her college friend Lina took that photo last Wednesday when they were at my house, it's so nice to have it.

How difficult losing both your beloved animals in such a short window of time. I hope you can imagine them happily romping together again as they surely did when they were young.

I lost my last Jack Russell Terrier last month. Still find myself listening and looking for him when I first wake up.
Aw, Mary...I am so sorry! I have lost animals in my life which most of us have...and I know that I am still devastated over losing Louise almost 2 years ago! There are some that we bond with in certain ways, I think, especially as we grow older and aren't so open to those kinds of changes. I feel so lucky to have gotten to know Candy recently...a real sweetheart!
So sorry to hear of the loss of your baby, Mary. Jack Russell's are such faithful companions and so full of character, you must miss him terribly.
Sorry to hear that Mary. 2 of our 3 Jack russells died in the last three years. its hard to lose pets.

No Isaac, I don't think I am ready just yet.
i understand fully, we lost our dog of 13 years about 2 months ago, and we are not ready yet for another dog either.
I still miss ol' peanut, she was such a sweet dog!
