kwanjin, Would you consider sending me a cutting or two of you Elderberry Black Lace?
I love elderberries and want to grow some for jelly.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

What a Sweet Rotten Cat!! I love Rotten Cats!!

LOL! But I have a question, wouldn't it be Xine since "t" is part of "Christ?" I know a gal who calls me Cricketine. Dave's childhood nickname is Cricket (because he doesn't ever stop talking,) and she can't ever remember his name so sticks with his nickname, and came up with that one for me.

(Zone 7a)

No, it's pronounced, "cris", it means "Christ". Fun word a-games and rotten cats!!! LOL

Mrti, I can get a cutting in the spring for you. How about trading it for some of your Amaranthus cruentus? The red amaranth?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Now try saying all that in a nasally tone like I have right now. It's impossible!! LOL!!

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

Amaranthus cruentus seeds out in the mail. Thank you.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL Pep! That's hilarious!

(Zone 7a)

LOL All I could do was snicker, snort, then snicker some more!

Marti, thank you. I made myself a note. PLEASE help me remember!

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

you got it. I'll post me a note along with the other notes for things in the spring. I mailed your seeds to day. Have fun.

(Zone 7a)

Thanks!

Everyone have a safe and wonderful New Year.

Happy New Year to all.

I'm gong to join in with a cat picture. This is Ginger taking it easy when I drove from Calif last Aug.

Ginger is a very laid back cat. Mine hate the car. We tried to acclimate them to it but no such luck.

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

She hated being in the carrier. Shorty wouldn't come out of the carrier until I stopped and shut off the engine. As soon as I started the engine, he would run back and climb in the carrier. People on the road got a surprise with Ginger. She would sit on top of the carrier and look out the window at cars going by, like she was sightseeing.

(Zone 7a)

How did you manage that with her? I would love to take the next kitty on road trips.

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

Well, she did it herself. She hates being locked up. She found out that it's either act nice or in the carrier she goes. I've taken her out in the car many times from the time she was a kitten. She is now 9 years old. At first she would cry and fuz in the car, but then into the carrier. After a few times she decided that lying on the seat or getting to sit on the carrier and look out the window is the way to travel.

And while you're up can you bring me a cold Natural Light please Kwanjin? You know when one is lurking one can't be disturbed. ;)

(Zone 7a)

I believe "one" is already disturbed. LOL ^_^ How ya doin', 24? Haven't heard from you in awhile.

Marti my Tiga (Teega) is 13 and we moved from CA to AR in April 2007 and it almost killed her. I never took her for car rides in her life, but she is laid back and never put up a fuss when going to the vet so I didn't think she would stress out, but apparently she did. She wouldn't stay in the carrier so I just gave her full access of the car, she crawled under the drivers seat and stayed there, when we stopped driving for the day it took an act to pull her from under the seat as she stuck herself to the carpet. A couple weeks later she got real sick and almost died, I had to change vets or she would have died, this vet has diagnosed her with Irritable Bowel Syndrome and says it's from stress, we're assuming from the move because there is no stress in her life, other than not getting the food she wants when she wants it.

Here's a series of pics of Tiga:

I love the one of her sleeping in the sink. That is great! Ginger likes to sleep on shelves. Book shelves, kitchen shelves. Right now she is sleeping on the bottom shelf of of the rack in the bathroom near the heater vent. She also like boxes. If there is something on a shelf that she wants, she will clean it off. She knows she is "Queen" and everything in the house is hers. Drives my sister nuts!!

Hey! My HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! post never posted! ggrrrrrr

I've been trying to come back on all day but someone stole my chair, now I'm just lazy daisy today and it's a great day to be outside!

Love the door mat and names! It took me a week to come up with Tiga and after 13 years I haven't been able to come up with anything, Dave calls her "Rotten Cat" and I call her Tiga Leigh, Tigini, Sweet Pea, Big Girl, Baby Head, Fuzz Butt, and I'm forgetting one or two lol

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

Gingers nicknames are: golden butt, little girl, fuzzy butt. She has a couple of others that are not repeatable in public when she gets in one of her moods and makes a real pain of herself.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL Marti! That's too funny! Oh I call her a big turd now and then, among a few others that aren't repeatable here too!

(Zone 7a)

Monty-Man, Monty the Hut, Big Guy, Monty-cello, Monty-zuma, and a few more.

Isis Drucilla Veruca Santiago. Princess Sassypants, Punkin', Sweetpee, Hey! Get-Out-of-There!

Sanford, NC(Zone 7a)

Good Morning!! Dave's cousin Alice from Dallas was here for the Holiday so we went out to her house (her and her husband have a small house here on I think 10 acres and 80 acres in Daingerfield, TX) and had a ball. She served us a Mexican lunch then we had a Dirty Santa and Right Left Right and came home with a blue Snuggie, another blue blanket with snowflakes, reindeer, and "Peace" and "Joy" and "Merry" on it, a little tool set, and a Christmas candle set. We had a great time, I'm uploading the pictures onto Picasa.

That is so cool! Neat to watch the development process. I think I'd be going in for ultrasounds as often as I could.
