Wow, from the last thread,
Frank, wonderful photos, all of them. Love the BB's and that Pine Warbler is gorgeous!
Adel, sorry something got some of your quail. I'd be happy to send you some, but I'm sure we'll lose some of our soon too. The younger ones don't seem to be very smart or fast.
Mrs Ed, that last photo with the flicker and red-bellied is spectacular.
Hack, congrats on the new lens. Guess you'll need the tripod for sure with that longer lens.
CC, cute nuthatch. That last one is a female or younger Dark-eyed Junco-note the pink bill.

Burn great start of the new thread. Love that grackle photo-sure hope that bird survives. Beautiful Jay, dove and that Downy is so cute.
Red, cute crow. Love that shot of the doves! Looks like my Bewick's too-great shot!
Mrs Ed, just love that Fox Sparrow!
GP I always love seeing your grackles too. Love that buntings too. Did you see the Painted Bunting on the cover of the Bird and Blooms Extra? Wow, your photos should have been there! Cute hummer too!
Pelle, gorgeous photos of the starlings, cardinal and jay.
Rose, I always look forward to seeing the Chickadees-gosh they're cute. Cute phoebe too!
Burd, love your starling and cardinal-wow! Great shot of the grab and go. Elvis is so beautiful!

This female Brewer's Blackbird stood out pretty in the sun.

This Junco was looking for a spot at the peanut butter log.

The log was full up and the junco was waiting a turn. I've named this one Golden crowned Sparrow "Stretch". Bet you know which one I mean. Every time he comes here, he prefers to stretch for a higher hole rather than a closer one.

Duc, that 7D kicks butt!

GP, I think your Hawks are both Red-shouldered Hawk's. And why Ive never seen a Mockingbird, is beyond me.

Burd, I had to go to MEXICO to see a Northern Mockingbird.

Burd, That Nuthatch is adorable! I miss mine.

Rose, I'm with you about hugging those Chickadees!

Even though it was dark and raining I did get a few shots through the window.
I see more American Goldfinch every day now. The two socks and metal thistle feeder were full today. Some were eating on the other feeders and on the ground.

Poor little Eastern Phoebe, he's too cute, to be standing out in the cold like that.

WOW, what a great assortment of bird pictures.

ducbucIn, You don't need to send any White crowns up here. Last spring there was around a 100 of them and they stayed around for 6 weeks. Never had that many before and also before only stayed a couple of weeks. I will post a picture of the damage they did to my sweet cherry crop. I watched them clipping off the cherry blooms, didn't eat anything, just clipped the bloom and let them fall. It is a large cherry tree, probably 20 feet and impossible to cover with bird netting. The ground was white, and I did not get one cherry off the tree.

I've had a lot of light-colored Juncos this year. Some have hints of rufous on their backs. Lots of variation in this species.
