Mature Feathering

Joplin, MO(Zone 6b)

i have vents all teh way around the top too, we haven't gotten down there to finish closing up part of them for good. So there is a large tarp pulled over the top of teh coop & strapped down blocking the wind from blowing in from the east, as I found it would do when i went down to let them out & the west wall had snow on it. So the coop is NOT anywhere near airtight. there are little holes all over where our boards didn't quite meet up. idk what the temp is near the ceiling. we had a nice calm day here yesterday with temps about 34 to 40 & that's about what the coop felt like. I really should put a thermometer down there, just haven't gotten one to put in there yet. We've got another big snow predicted so I"ll get one before that happens & see what temps it keeps inside for sure.
